If you are pregnant or have a young child under the age of 4 you could be entitled to Healthy Start vouchers worth up to £4.25 a week for both you and your child. These vouchers can be spent on milk, fresh or frozen fruit and veg (plain with nothing else added) and infant formula milk at your local shop. In addition to this you benefit from getting coupons for free vitamins too.
To qualify for the vouchers, you must be at least 10 weeks pregnant or have a child under 4 years old AND you or your family get
You also qualify for the Healthy Start vouchers if you are under 18 years old and pregnant, even if you do not get any of the above benefits or tax credits.
You can fill out the application form by popping in and grabbing a form or by clicking here. Due to a change in the law as of the 6 April 2020, you no longer need to get a health professional to sign your Healthy Start application form. This means you can leave Part B blank. However, if you’re pregnant, you need to complete your estimated due date in Part B. Do not forget that you still need to sign the application in Part A, Section 7. Please return your paper form to:-
